Jessica poses for eyewear maker Blanc & Eclare.

Jessica, a former member of girl group Girls' Generation, flew to China to attend the opening of department store Lane Crawford in Shanghai, online tabloids reported on Wednesday.

As the co-founder and head designer of eyewear maker Blanc & Clare, she will attend the opening event for the department store in Shanghai Time Square in November. Taylor Kwon is her business partner and the other co-founder of the brand.

The eyewear brand recently switched its name from "Blanc" to "Blanc & Eclare," following a dispute with a Japanese eyewear maker with the same name.

Blanc & Eclare currently sells 14 types of sunglasses, two of which are exclusively sold at Lane Crawford. It will launch a lineup of fragrance by the end of this year, before adding the fashion accessories and apparel into its portfolio starting the first half of 2015.
