Hong Kong singer Gigi Leung gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday, Hong Kong news media reported.
According to Apple Daily, Leung, 38, delivered her daughter via a natural birth. The newborn reportedly weighed more than 2.7kg.
It is the first child for her and her husband of three years, Spanish food engineer Sergio Crespo Gutes.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Leung showed off the baby girl and wrote: " All this while I've only been feeling your movements in my tummy, today I can finally hold you and feel your weight, seeing your smile makes the pain all worth it!"
In another photo uploaded on social media hours earlier, the baby is shown clasping her finger as Leung gushed: "Our angel has arrived! We are grateful, safe, happy!"
According to SingTao Daily, Leung's husband has been constantly by her side, attending to her every need during her pregnancy. The pair were spotted dining at a restaurant just a day before Leung went into labour, where he was snapped giving his wife a tender kiss on the back of her hand.
Leung's good friends and the baby's godmothers - actress Angelica Lee, Charlie Young and Valen Hsu, all took to social media to send their congratulatory messages to the proud parents. Wrote Lee: "Gigi's strength and positivity throughout her pregnancy journey has been very heartwarming. We welcome you, little angel, us godmothers will love and watch over you."
