Here comes Vera Wang

Vera Wang, the doyenne of wedding wear, has opened her first bridal boutique in Singapore.

Located at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the 1,600 sq ft space will carry dresses, shoes, accessories, fragrances and selected items from the designer's Wedgwood home collection.

Her delicate and seductive gowns are a dream come true for most brides.

Those who want a one-of-a-kind gown can opt for the customisation service.

For her spring 2015 collection, Wang has returned to traditional whites after pushing boundaries with black wedding gowns and vibrant pink ones.

Prices start from $5,000.

"Singapore holds a special connection for me as my father spent so much of his career there," says the 65-year-old designer, who also has a fashion label.
