Online retailer Lazada Singapore is taking part in the ongoing Great Singapore Sale by offering daily deals on its mobile app, as well as free shipping and next day delivery from June 24-26.

Its Effortless Shopping Sale is aimed at encouraging shoppers to escape the crowds by shopping online, especially via mobile, the company said in a statement.

It added that while a 2014 Google Shopper Study showed that product quality and security were the biggest barriers to online shopping in Singapore, a customer satisfaction survey carried out by the company in April this year proved otherwise.

"There is a clear disconnect between what offline shoppers perceive and what customers on Lazada Singapore experience. This highlights the need to dispel existing barriers to shopping online. As a market leader, we are taking the first step towards showcasing the benefits of online shopping, through an integrated Effortless Shopping Sale," Lazada Singapore's chief executive Martell Hardenberg said.

Apart from daily app deals, shoppers can also look out for 15 individual flash deals from 9am to midnight on June 25. Maybank cardholders can get a storewide discount of 20 per cent.

Additionally, Lazada Singapore is giving away shopping vouchers on its Facebook page and Instagram account.

Product highlights at the Effortless Shopping Sale

Some of the fashion and beauty products that are going on sale are the SK-II Facial Treatment Repair C and the Tory Burch Nylong Ella Tote. The tech products that are going on sale include the Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Amazon Kindle Touch.
