SINGAPORE - Luxury brand Fendi reopened its store in Marina Bay Sands (MBS) on Nov 23, with a brand new store concept that embraces the brand's Roman heritage.
TV stars Fann Wong, Christopher Lee, Jeanette Aw and Rebecca Lim were just some of the celebrities who attended the grand opening ceremony on Nov 23. Our favourite local crooner Nathan Hartono, as well as composer-performer Dick Lee were also spotted at the event.
But it was not just the stars that grabbed attention; Fendi's mascots, known as Fendirumi made a special appearance as well to celebrate the opening.
These two-metre tall furry mascots were created to honour the Japanese culture of kigurumi, which stands for "consumed performer" in Japanese. The baby pink 'Piro-chan' mascot proudly displays the Fendi logo across its fuzzy chest, while the boyish blue 'Bug-kun' mascot features a yellow crest and double FF logo.
Want to catch the furry mascots in action?
The Fendirumi will make special hourly appearances from 3pm to 8pm at the MBS store from Nov 25 to 27, 2016.

The stylish new store is also decorated with sketches by Fendi's creative director and celebrated German fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld, in addition to the eye-catching feature wall pierced with thousands of gold spikes,
