Lydia Sum's daughter has been in the news previously for her weight loss and subsequent weight gain.
In Jun 2014, media reports surfaced about Joyce Cheng weighing 90kg. According to entertainment news site Asianpopnews, Cheng reportedly lost a swimsuit advertisement due to her "ballooned weight".
In response to her weight, Cheng said: "I am not unhappy. I have not been dislosing my weight. All the weight figures are just speculations."
Though she generally stays out of the limelight, her recent Instagram photos have caused quite a stir among fans.
She has uploaded pictures of herself and her friends holidaying in Thailand.
Most of these photos show them in bikinis or swimsuits, reports Viral Cham.
Netizens have praised her for looking good, and for confidently uploading such pictures.
