IPOH, Malaysia - Datin Janet Yeoh wants nothing more than to see her famous daughter Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh get married to Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) president Datuk Jean Todt.
Expressing her Mother's Day wish, Janet said she would be over the moon if the two could tie the knot fast.
"The sooner the better. Of course, I am looking forward to it. Every mother would be anxious to see her daughter marry. I would very much love to have Jean take care of her," Janet said yesterday.
Yeoh, 52, has been engaged to Todt, 69, since 2005.
Janet added that Michelle would be making a trip back here to celebrate Mother's Day with her.
"She called home to say that she will be back although it won't be this weekend. Right now, she is busy trying to help victims of the earthquake in Nepal.
"It is her way of repaying the Nepalese people for their assistance and kindness," said Janet.
Michelle and Todt were in Kathmandu for the FIA Asia-Pacific Sport Regional Congress when the devastating earthquake hit on April 25.
They were reportedly stranded before being evacuated to France by the world motorsport governing body.
