New blushers to try

BLUSH & GLOW

The lightweight formulas of these blushers lend the complexion a natural-looking flush and radiance that powder and cream blushers cannot replicate. They are easy to apply and fool-proof too. Just blend the colours well on the apple of the cheeks and cheekbones.

The coral shades look best on fair skin; while the deep pink ones look better on darker skin tones.

BOURJOIS AQUA BLUSH
$21.90, from Bourjois counters

A long-lasting lightweight gel blush that promises to last up to 12 hours. Pump a half-pea-sized amount and blend onto cheeks with finger tips.

Available in four shades: nude, coral, pink and deep berry

STILA AQUA GLOW WATERCOLOR BLUSH
$37, from Sephora counters

The watery gel blush with subtle gold shimmer flecks is dispensed through a fine net, so just the right amount of colour is picked up.

Use your finger and blend onto skin. If you prefer a more hygienic application method, use a make-up sponge instead. Layer on the sheer product for a more intense finish.

ETUDE HOUSE CUSHION BLUSHER
$18, from Etude House stores

This product works like an ink pad. Dip the make-up applicator into the soaked sponge and pat the pigments onto skin for a subtle blush of colour. Like the Stila one, this must be applied in layers.

Comes in two shades: coral and pink.
