New mum Hannah Quinlivan may have regained her pre-pregnancy figure quickly enough after giving birth to a daughter in July, but something else has her troubled.

In a post on her Weibo account, Jay Chou's 22-year-old wife posted a desperate plea for help on how to get her daughter, nicknamed "Little Chou Chou", to sleep.

Quinlivan wrote on Weibo: “Help me, when will Little Chou Chou sleep? Wet nurse mommies are amazing! I haven’t slept well in a long time. I’m not getting enough sleep.”

She also posted two photos showing Quinlivan putting on booties for her daugher, and arranging her cot.

Fans who came to her aid told her to take it easy and not get too anxious. They said babies have irregular sleeping patterns and don't usually sleep through the night. They urged Quinlivan to get some rest whenever she can when the baby is sleeping.

"For Little Chou Chou to regularly sleep through the night, it may take up to six months or even a year", said netizens.
