The IDS Clinic at Novena Specialist Center has launched Lyco-White ($168 per bottle), a beauty supplement that promises to make skin fairer and increase the skin's resistance to damaging UV rays.

It also has general antioxidant health benefits.

However, you will have to take three capsules a day for at least a month to see results.

The capsules contain powdered colourless carotenoids and curcumin extract, which are potent antioxidants; the popular oral sunscreen ingredient polypodium leucotomos; as well as black pepper extract to boost the efficacy of the antioxidants.
