New 'wand' applicator to apply eye cream

SK-II's Stempower Eye Cream now comes with a magnetic applicator wand that supposedly helps the ingredients to be better absorbed.

The key ingredient in the cream is the skin-nourishing niacinamide, which apparently has molecular properties that are repelled by magnets.

Based on this logic, when you glide the wand over an area that is covered by the cream, the skin soaks up the formula more effectively.

The eye cream is also made with the brand's signature yeast extract pitera, stem acanax and artichoke extract that promise to rejuvenate skin.

The Magic Wand Set, which includes a 15g jar of cream and a magnetic wand, is priced at $174.

On its own, the cream costs $144.

The wand is not sold separately.

Available at SK-II counters.
