1. Classic Brow Lead by Browhaus, $17.90 each, from Browhaus salons

A waxy, waterproof pencil that promises to stay on for 24 hours. Use the spoolie brush on the other end to keep hairs in place and soften the colour for a natural finish.

2. Tom Ford Brow Sculpting Kit, $110, from Tom Ford counters

Draw the perfect brow shape - that is darker in the middle and ends, and lighter at the inner brow - with the two shades of easy-to-blend pigmented brow powder. Then set hairs with the creamy, colourless wax. The kit comes with a double-ended stiff angled brush and spoolie brush.

3. Dior Sourcils Poudre, $38, from Dior counters

A pigmented and waterproof pencil with a powder finish. The colour is easily blended with the stiff spoolie brush on the other end for natural-looking brows. The pencil comes with a sharpener.

4. Urban Decay Brow Tamer Flexible Hold Tinted Brow Gel, $30, from Sephora stores

A lightweight pigmented gel that keeps hairs in place without making them look matted. This product complements the fine-tipped retractable Brow Beater ($33) pencil that features a spoolie brush on the other end.

5. Shu Uemura Brow:ink, $42, from Shu Uemura counters

This works best on those with sparse brows. Think of this as a brow pencil, but in liquid form. Paint the "ink" on the skin to fill in empty spots and create the illusion of a fuller brow. Always use a spoolie brush afterwards to distribute the colour evenly. Finish with the brand's signature Hard Formula brow pencil to add texture and the Brow Manicure mascara to set hairs.

6. 3 Concept Eyes Eyebrow Kit, $21, from Sephora stores

A duo of fine and subtle brown brow powders that are perfect for creating the light and naturallooking brows that South Korean stars carry off so well. The compact comes with an angled brush and a spoolie brush.

7. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, US$23 (S$32.50), from Net-APorter.com

A cult favourite of make-up artists, this fine-tipped retractable and pigmented pencil gives brows an ultra-sharp and defined shape. It also comes with a fine spoolie brush on the other end.
