OPI releases limited edition Hello Kitty nail polish line

Alright ladies, it's time to get excited for more colours because manicure mania is about to hit us.

The good folks at OPI have taken it upon themselves to bring the yearly Hello Kitty obsession forward, and their latest Hello Kitty-inspired collection is definitely a collectible us beauty lovers endorse!

The Hello Kitty Cherry Blossom by OPI line is introducing four new limited edition colours; all distinctly pretty, adorably named, and - hold on tight - exclusively available only in Asia.

Why Hello Kitty, you ask? Besides the obvious answer (why not?), OPI loves what Hello Kitty symbolises: Friendship and fun, with a splash of cute.

Which explains why the hues in this collection feature a spectrum of shimmery pinks and delicate nudes; perfect for the sweet girls.

On one end of the range, there's Showered by Petals, a soft white. It's followed by Dreams of Spring, a nice beige with just a tinge of blush. Sitting Under the Cherry Blossoms rounds up the pinks with its bright tone, and is also reminiscent of the beautiful cherry blossoms in Japan.

For the vixens out there, however, don't feel left out. The last colour of the launch, Cheery Blooms, is a loud cherry-red, so ideal for strong-minded women who are all about a bold statement.

Be warned, though, these colours are only available for a limited time, so it's time to break out those bottles of base coat.
