With just a click of a button, couples can now record their marriage proposal, no third person required.
All they need is a Ring Cam.
It may look like any other ring box, but what sets it apart is the small camera hidden inside. Press the button and the Ring Cam will record the women's reaction when their suitors get down on one knee.
It's much cheaper than hiring a secret photographer too. The small device costs 120 pounds (S$250), and you can even rent one online for 60 pounds.
Created by five 23-year-old American men, Scott Brandonisio, Scott Bahash, Elliot Barney, Russell Fyfe, and Nick Haugen, the idea came about when they were helping their friend find a way to discreetly record his proposal.
Ring Cam's general manager Sam Tzou says, "Customers love the product because they can keep the actual moment private, but they are able to share it with everybody afterwards."
"Ring Cam captures the moment that only the proposer gets to see - which from our perspective is the most important," he added.
