While some celebrities opt for grand weddings, model-actress Sheila Sim went down the intimate route, with a small-scale wedding. And when we say small, we mean only 13 tables.
Sheila and her husband, 37-year-old banker Deon Woo, got married last Sunday (Jan 28) after being engaged for slightly more than a year.
The couple reportedly met through a dating app.
According to The Straits Times, apart from friends and family, some of the attendees include makeup artist Clarence Lee and hairstylist Dexter Ng - presumably the duo behind the hair and makeup and styling for the wedding since they were tagged - fashion stylist Jeremy Tan and artistes Chen Han Wei, Chew Chor Meng, Pan Ling Ling, Dennis Chew and Elvin Ng.
In the wedding photos, the couple were dressed in Chanel, with Sheila wearing a collared top, vest and maxi skirt. Not quite the typical wedding dress, but it's pretty nonetheless.
In fact, we wouldn't be surprised even if she had opted for Chanel's tuxedo wedding dress from the Haute Couture collection because she definitely could have pulled it off.
The couple will reportedly head to Japan for a holiday (or minimoon, as couples nowadays call it) since her current schedule doesn't give her enough time-off for a honeymoon.
