SINGAPORE - Customers of luxury fashion retailer Club 21, organic food and health store SuperNature, and gourmet boutique and bistro Culina can make a difference through the simple gesture of paying with a MasterCard card as part of MasterCard's Purchase with Purpose programme.

For each purchase made with a MasterCard card from August 1 to September 30, MasterCard will donate US$10 (S$12.50) to the companies' community partners - Beautiful People and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP).

Club 21 and SuperNature will be supporting Beautiful People, a volunteer work programme supporting teenage girls-at-risk through key transitions in their lives.

The donation will go toward its Good Work! programme, a 10-week work experience including fortnightly life skills training, social development activities, coaching services and mentoring.

Culina Gourmet Boutique and Bistro will be assisting low-income students from NYP's Hospitality diploma programmes with tuition fees, living expenses, and book allowances.

In addition, Culina is pledging to match MasterCard's contribution in honour of its 20th anniversary, enabling NYP to support some 20 students.
