Shower jellies are the Internet world's latest obsession

Yet another beauty product has been causing quite a bit of a frenzy in the Internet world these days.

And no, it is not because reality and social media star Kylie Jenner just restocked her highly-coveted lip kits.

Instead, netizens have a new obsession over... shower jellies. To be fair, these bath products are really colourful and cute.

A video demonstrating what these wobbly shower jellies look like has been shared widely online.

At last count, the video has garnered more than a whopping 27 million views.

We can understand why.

It was impossible to tear our eyes away as the jiggly creations lit up our screens. For some odd reason, it was a little therapeutic as well.

These shower jellies are made by British bath and beauty company, Lush, which prides itself in making products fresh by hand using little to no preservatives as well as vegetarian ingredients.

In this case, Lush's shower jellies are completely vegan.

Fans of Lush cosmetics will know that the company labels each of their products with an expiry date and also includes the name of the employee who created that bath bomb or lip scrub you purchased.

News website Stuff.co reported that these psychedelic-looking bath products were invented back in 2005 and they contain seaweed particles which give them that jelly-like appearance.

You can use these shower jellies as a body gel or even to wash your hair.

One Facebook user commented: "The best way to use them is to chop it up, put it in a strainer, then run under water to use as a bubble bath."

These little guys remind us of the good ol' days when we had fun with bright tubs of Play-Doh.

Just watching the video itself has made us want to run out and get ourselves some shower jellies.

Each shower jelly retails for $16 and above, according to Lush Singapore's official website.

We might be a little too old for Play-Doh but these shower jellies are about to make bath time a whole lot more fun.
