Sonia Sui pops and names son Max

TAIPEI  - Taiwanese actress Sonia Sui on Monday announced the birth of her son in Singapore, about seven months after her Las Vegas marriage, said China Times.

The boy, Max, weighed more than 3kg, said the report.

Sui's husband, Tony, who reportedly works in finance, was with her for the birth.

She shared photos of her son and herself on Facebook, saying:

"Finished giving birth. Mother and child are safe.

"Natural birth is really painful. Worth it when I see him."

Sui, 34, did not reveal the boy's birthday, but said it was "over the weekend", reported China Times.

The couple's whirlwind romance started in September last year. They married in January this year and announced her pregnancy in May.
