Taiwanese singer Valen Hsu ties the knot in Korea

Taiwanese singer Valen Hsu and her Korean beau tied the knot last Friday, Sep 12.

Hsu's husband, Choi Jae-sung, who is nicknamed Mr Big, is a senior manager at SM Entertainment in Korea.

According to online media reports, the bride and groom wore traditional Korean costumes for a ceremony in the afternoon, and at night, Hsu changed into a beautiful white gown for her garden wedding.

The outdoor wedding was held at Aston House, a popular wedding venue for Korean celebrities. The hotel is also where the popular K-drama, Hotelier, was shot.

The theme of the wedding was "the power of love", signifying the "miracle that two [people] born in different countries could meet," the bride explained.

Hsu's celebrity pals like Fish Leong and Tanya Chua, and best friends Charlie Yeung and Angelica Lee were also in attendance. Lee and husband, Oxide Pang, seemed to have put their past behind them as they appeared hand in hand at the wedding, and brought along Pang's daughter.

According to asianpopnews, the groom performed the song "She" for his bride, while Hsu surprised Choi with a Korean song, "I am in love".

Hsu's celebrity friends also sang the Mandarin song, "The moon represents my heart", for the couple.
