Local fans of celebrated international photographer Annie Leibovitz can now view some of her works upclose here in Singapore.

In support of Leibovitz's upcoming photo exhibition, 'WOMEN: New Portraits', global financial firm UBS on Friday (Apr 22) launched 'WOMEN: Heroes', a digital campaign celebrating women making an impact in their communities.

The photo exhibition comprises newly-commissioned photographs taken by Leibovitz and features women of outstanding achievement.

Singapore is part of the 10-city international tour of the renowned photographer's exhibition.

Exhibition visitors and audiences globally are also invited to share the stories of inspiring women in their own lives by submitting their captioned photos via Instagram using the hashtag #ShareYourHero or directly to the digital gallery at www.ubs.com/shareyourhero.

'WOMEN: New Portraits' is slated to open in Singapore on April 29. Admission is free.
