Utt reveals beauty secrets

Uttsada Panichkul, 39, better known as Utt, the host, actor and founder of artiste management company Seven95ive Artistes first found fame as an MTV VJ in 1998.

The American-born Thai-Chinese, who is based in Bangkok, was recently named the representative of SK-II Men skincare line.

What is the one product you would not step out of the house without?

A good moisturiser as I am often under the sun.

At the moment, my favourite is the SK-II Men Age Revitalize Moisturizer ($149, left) because it is lightweight and does not feel greasy on my skin. It also comes in a slim tube that fits easily into my bag.

What is the one grooming service you cannot do without?

I'm a low-maintenance guy, so I don't go for anything else besides the usual haircut or the occasional Thai massage.

When I'm in Singapore, I have my hair cut at David Gan's Passion salon.

When I'm in Thailand, I usually go to HML Salon in Thonglor Street in Bangkok. My friend, Ton, who is a celebrity hairstylist, works there.

I also visit my other celebrity hairstylist friend's salon, called Hive Hair & Nail Salon in Soi Langsuan.

I enjoy a good facial treatment once in a while. It perks up my skin and helps me relax.

As an actor and a public figure, it is important for me to maintain a well-groomed appearance.

Every tiny detail is magnified when you are on camera. And the way I look represents my attitude towards my profession and career.

Many men don't realise this but having good skin is key because it is what most people look at first.

It really helps create a good first impression.
