What gifts not to get for Christmas

What gifts not to get for Christmas

SINGAPORE - Underwear, socks, and plastic jewellery. These are the top three items Singaporeans would not want as a gift, according to Lazada.

The e-commerce company conducted a survey on Singaporeans' wishlist for Christmas , and the results may help you figure out that perfect gift for your friends and family. At the very least, you'll know what not to get them for the holiday.

According to the results of Lazada's survey, 75 per cent of respondents would 'hate' to receive plastic jewellery, 53 per cent don't want socks, and 51 per cent prefer not to be given underwear.

Survey respondents didn't have the same strong opinions regarding what they did want, but there were still clear results. 40 per cent wanted a luxury bag, while 31 per cent indicated they were keen on wine or a Nerf gun for Christmas.

But you don't have to worry that much about your Christmas budget - only 29 per cent of people surveyed expect their presents to cost more than $100.
