Yumi Bai, the younger sister of Taiwan-based Singaporean pop duo By2, is reportedly dating Macau casino magnate Stanley Ho's son, Mario Ho.
The 22-year-old singer was photographed by Taiwanese media holding hands with the 19-year-old Ho, who is the son of Stanley Ho's fourth wife.
Bai is said to have went shopping with Ho, where the latter was seen helping her with her coat while she was trying on clothes. He was also seen carrying pastries that they purchased and even kneeled down to take pictures of her.
Ho also reportedly paid for all their expenses.
According to reports, Bai and Ho met at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where the two are reportedly studying at.
Bai had posted on her micro-blog on Nov 17 that it was her second week of studying at MIT. According to her manager, Bai will be at MIT for one month.
Online reports state that Ho is a maths genius and is often featured in the media for his successes at contests around the world. He attended the prestigious independent school Winchester College in the United Kingdom and was offered admission from the University of Oxford and MIT.
Bai and her twin sister, Miko Bai, are a Singaporean Mando-pop duo who have been based in Taiwan for the last six years after being offered a 10-year contract with local record label Ocean Butterflies.
After dropping out from Yio Chu Kang Secondary School at 16 years old, the sisters flew to Taipei to launch their singing career.
They have released five albums to date.
