RIO DE JANEIRO - The draw for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be made on Friday at the Atlantic Ocean resort of Costa do Sauipe By the end of the 90-minute long draw, the 32 teams who will contest football's greatest prize will know who their opponents will be in the opening group stages.

Reactions from around the world will pour in as the scene is finally set for the greatest and most hotly-anticipated tournament in all of sport.

Agence France-Presse will have a team of text and video reporters and photographers on hand to provide comprehensive and colourful coverage of the draw.

To set the scene, AFP has prepared a package of stories, illustrated with photos, video and graphics, outlining how Brazil is preparing for the event and how the teams are gearing up.
