20 toilet rolls used to make winning wedding dress

There was something old, something new, something borrowed and something double-ply for 10 designers taking part in this contest.

They battled it out for US$10,000 and the top prize in the 10th annual toilet paper wedding dress contest held in New York City.

Designer Lupe Andrade of Winnetka, California used 12 rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong, hot glue, mod podge glue, clear tape and thread to create her dress.

But that's not enough for the winner.

Designer Susan Brennan of Orchard Lake, Michigan used 20 rolls of Charmin Ultra Soft, white and clear tape, Elmer's glue and thread, to create her unique dress named "Romance on a Roll".

It is wedding gown that can be shortened to turn it into a party dress.
