A 40-year-old Palestinian woman who gave birth to 69 children has died.

Her death was confirmed by her husband, according to an Al Arabiya report that cited Gaza Al-An news agency.

No other information was given in various reports especially on how she managed to birth all her kids in her short life.

Al Arabiya also said that she was the most the fertile woman in the world according to global statistics.

However, a Khaleej Times report said in a Guiness World Records website page, "the greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother is 69, to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev (b. 1707-c.1782), a peasant from Shuya, Russia."

Except, both the Guiness World Record page as well as a BBC report seem to dispute that fact of the Russian mother.

Either way, one forummer said the Palestinian woman "died in the fight to perpetuate her race and culture. What sacrifices are you making?"

Rest in peace, strong woman.
