Australian woman jokes act of crushing watermelon with thighs scared off US pick-up artist Roosh V

An Australian woman posted a video of herself crushing a watermelon with her thighs in an attempt to scare 'pro-rape' advocate Daryush Valizadeh

Ms Kortney Olson posted the video in response to Valizadeh's plan to visit Australia. He has since cancelled his trip.

The video, which was posted on her Facebook page has been viewed more than 6.3 million times.

In the five-second video, Ms Olson crushes the fruit with her thighs.

Valizadeh, who goes by the name Roosh V, has been in the news recently for publishing a blog post claiming that rape should be legalised on private property as a means to "defeat rape culture".

Since then, he has proposed an "international meet-up" day in 43 countries, including Singapore and Australia.

According to the Daily Mail, Ms Olson, who is a fitness trainer in Gold Coast and was Australia's first female arm wrestling champion, wrote: "(Valizadeh) saw my watermelon video and cancelled plans".

The video, which is captioned with a watermelon emoji and various hashtags including '#watermelonthighsqueeze' and '#legsfordays', garnered both positive and negative comments.

Many commentors made crude, sexual remarks about Ms Olsen's physique - something which she addressed in another Facebook post.

In the post, she said, "Apparently my video has attracted a bunch of insecure, jealous little boys", before adding that she was "married to a man" and was "not a lesbian" and that she had not consumed testosterone.

She also said that she would "love to change the world...by empowering more women to be and do whatever the h*ll they want to".

The Daily Mail also reported that Ms Olson is not the first person to crush a watermelon with her legs.

30-year-old Ukrainian woman Ms Olga Liaschuk, who holds the Guinness world record for breaking watermelons with her thighs in the fastest possible time, crushed three watermelons in 14 seconds on live television.
