Braids on the loose
Mind the Gap is treating its followers to a live concert by Canadian rock collective Braids tonight at Moose on Ekkamai Soi 21. Variously described as art-rock, post-rock and by British paper The Guardian as "experimental dream pop delivered through a shoegaze haze", Braids' recent album "Deep in the Iris" garnered 4-star reviews and has seen them tour extensively across North America and now Australia. Bass in the Dark
Kontraband returns for its monthly party to Dark Bar on Ekkamai Soi 10 tomorrow. Reinforced with an extra sound system, DJs Will, DeLorean and Azek will be spinning off-kilter rhythms and rumbling low frequencies for bass junkies all night. There'll also be a stint by special guest Stuart Nombluez. Entry is Bt200.

Ku De Ta Bangkok is bringing America's most influential DJ, Baby Yu to man the decks on Wednesday. One of the staples of the global entertainment industry, Baby Yu has served as official DJ for Young Jeezy and also collaborated with hip-hop elite Jay-Z and Kanye West on their tours.
