Free tattoo removal at Denver clinic

“What Were You Inking?” is a tattoo removal clinic in Denver that does pro bono tattoo removal for the Colorado Department of Corrections’ ex-convicts.

The procedure can be painful of course, so stress balls are provided to clients to grasp if they don't have a good tolerance level, as shown in a photo by Reuters.

The clients, who are ex-cons, hope to wipe out their incriminating past, such as tattoos that are symbols of the underworld that they once swore allegiance to.

One client also wanted an inking of his ex-wife's name removed. Tattoos and love are not forever in his case.
