Girl cleans up Trump's Hollywood star and accidentally creates a meme

It is probably no secret that US President Donald Trump is not one of the most popular characters in America right now. Well, depending on who you speak to.

His Hollywood Star along the Hollywood Boulevard has been mercilessly targeted by vandals ever since his election campaign in 2016, with one attempt even coming close to destroying the tile completely.

However, Trump supporter, Makenna Greenwald, 20, decided that she's had enough of seeing her President's star getting defaced constantly and decided to take matters into her own hands by cleaning it up herself.

My friends and I were walking down the Hollywood Boulevard . . . and as we walked by and saw it I just stopped and thought that I should clean it up," Greenwald said in an interview with Fox news.

"I was surprised that somebody hadn't done it before, but I guess that this happens a lot."

Ever since her tweet went viral with over 54,000 retweets and 219,000 likes, various conservatives and famous right wingers have publicly praised her efforts, thanking her for her service and loyalty.

Other characters, such as right win social media personality Mike Cernovich, took the opportunity to praise Greenwald, comparing her against those who defaced the star.

In the interview, Makenna also spoke about the backlash she has received due to her actions, stating how she was shocked by the responses she had received online.

"I was blown away by how much disrespect that I got, how rude people were to me, for a simple act of cleaning up our president, who is the highest office of the land," she said.

Whether Makenna's actions were the right thing to do or not remains up for debate. What can be said for sure however, is that her actions have sparked a response in many other Americans to show their appreciation to the important people in their lives.

People have since been mimicking Makenna's actions, turning the whole process of cleaning up a Hollywood star into one giant performance.
