Gordon Ramsay takes to Twitter to critique aspiring chefs

PETALING JAYA - Fans of hot tempered, foul-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay can now get personalised scorn from their favourite TV cooking show host via Twitter.

Ramsay's unfettered, disparaging remarks directed towards amateur chefs and contestants on reality TV shows like Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen have since become a staple meme (viral images often created for humour).

Over the past few months, aspiring chefs have been tweeting pictures of their culinary creations to Ramsay for rating, and receiving either praise, constructive input, or sharp criticisms.

And this time, Ramsay does it all within 140 characters. After all, brevity is the essence of wit.

Below are a few selected insults and approvals to particularly interesting gastronomic inventions:

Malaysians are also tweeting durian-inspired dishes to Ramsay, but it appears that he's not that big a fan of the king of fruits.

A video from Britain's The Nightly Show titled "John Legend Sings Classic Gordon Ramsay Insults" which features multiple Grammy award-winning Legend paying homage to Ramsay's most memorable quips has also gone viral.
