Kiss92 crowns 2016's Perfect Match with $60,000 Ultimate Wedding Package

It was the perfect ending for Kiss92's Perfect Match couple Janson and Jae, who were crowned Kiss92's Perfect Match at the finale event held earlier today at Wave House Sentosa.

Other Kiss92's Perfect Match couples Joe and Kelly came in second place, while Jonathan and Erika came in third.

Presented by Cairns & The Great Barrier Reef with SilkAir, Kiss92's Perfect Match contest concluded on an exhilarating note which saw the three couples completing a series of tasks at attractions around Sentosa as part of their final challenge on Saturday morning.

The three couples were shortlisted from over 50 video submissions in March. Through their creativity and effort that they put into their video submissions, the three couples' personalities and enthusiasm have won over Kiss92 fans' support with more than 6,000 likes on their Facebook pages.

The couples went through a six-week long competition which saw them taking on on-air and physical challenges.

On air, the couples were tested on their knowledge of each other, the familiarity they have with their future in-laws and partners' best friends, their compatibility with each other - which was determined by a marriage counsellor, and even their honesty with each other where they were put through a polygraph test.

All three couples' courage and determination to win Kiss92's Ultimate Wedding Package were also tested through physical challenges.

Their communication and coordination between one another were tested during a cooking challenge where they had to create a delicious dessert made with Cairns' Produce, a luggage challenge where they had to pack SilkAir's Economy Class luggage allowance of 30kg within 92 seconds and a diving challenge which tested their non-verbal communication underwater where they had to find a box of Michael Trio's wedding bands within 20 minutes.

Not only did the winning couple walk away with the title of Kiss92's Perfect Match, they also won themselves a Kiss92's Ultimate Wedding Package which includes a 6D5N honeymoon trip and flight tickets to Cairns & The Great Barrier Reef with SilkAir, Asia's most awarded regional airline.

Other prizes include a home renovation package by Darwin Interior, wedding venue and dinner at The St. Regis Singapore, $888 cash in red packet, wedding car by Kombi Rocks, wedding florist by Beato, wedding suit by Amanda Gown Warehouse, bridal gown by Amanda Lee Weddings, bridal hair & make up and wedding photography by Lightedpixels Pixies, wedding bands by Michael Trio and wedding cake sponsored by The White Ombre.

Janson and Jae, Kiss92's winning Perfect Match couple, reflected on their six-week journey to win Kiss92's Perfect Match title: "It was an honour to meet the other two couples! It was a really close fight among us all, and we would really like to thank the other two couples for their support throughout this six-week journey. The support we gave each other helped us to pull through some demoralising moments. Nevertheless, it was a fun and enriching journey, we had many first experiences and we would like to thank all supporters and the Kiss92 crew!"

Kiss92 fans who tuned in and have been following the couples' journey could take part in the contest too. By texting in their guesses on the winning couple, listeners stood a chance to win a pair of SilkAir's return flight tickets to Cairns.
