Man sets fox trap, but catches fierce mountain lion

A man set up a trap to catch foxes - but got the shock of his life when he returned the next day.

According to a video posted on YouTube, the man made the most terrifying find imaginable - a mountain lion.

After discovering the beast, the man proceeds to release it from the cage.

In the video he said: "We will hopefully release her without getting mauled because as you can see, she is unhappy."

The mountain lion hissed and growled at the man several times, but he persevered and continued making attempts to release the lion in hopes of not injuring himself or those around him.

Luckily, once he opened the trap, the mountain lion took a few seconds to realise that it was being released and pranced off without hurting anyone.
