Man U players in sex video scandal

Some Manchester United stars are being investigated by their club bosses over claims that they filmed one of their teammates having sex in a nightclub toilet.

The video of the player, who was with a woman in her late 20s, is believed to have been passed among United players.

The incident took place at an exclusive venue in Manchester, reported The Sun on Sunday.

The woman was apparently filmed carrying out an intimate act on one of United's international stars.

A source said: "They were in the toilets with0 the door closed, but other players were filming over the top of the door. It's disgusting behaviour.

"The girl has also been told someone was filming from underneath."

Although no players were named, the report says the footage was shared around the dressing room, reported UK's The Independent. The woman told the Sun on Sunday: "I have been crying my eyes out."

She is said to be worried it may be leaked to a website and damage the reputation of her and the team.

PROTECT PLAYERS

The source added: 'It was a drunken moment and they both got a bit excited'.

"She'll be worried about how she appears to the players. That will be her concern more than anything, she wants to protect them."

The woman apparently knows the United players and moves in celebrity circles.

The Sun claims the club is investigating the matter.

Tory MP John Whittingdale urged football clubs to make sure players "act responsibly".

The Commons Sport Select Committee chairman said: "They are role models for vast numbers of young people and one would hope they'd set a good example."

This comes just a week after former Sheffield United footballer and rapist Ched Evans made claims he has new evidence he believes will help him overturn his conviction, reported The Daily Mail.

His lawyer told MailOnline last week that he is confident that he will be cleared.

Evans was released from jail last October after completing half of a five-year jail sentence for raping a teenager.
