MH17: Impossible air-to-air missile brought down plane, says Hisham

BERA - Military intelligence and found debris from Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 indicate it was impossible an air-to-air missile was used to down the plane, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.

"It was a surface-to-air missile, and such a system could either be available to the Ukrainians or rebel forces," Hishammuddin told reporters after opening the Bera Umno Wanita, Youth and Puteri wings meeting Saturday.

It was reported that certain intelligence analysts had concluded that the plane was shot down by an air-to-air missile, and that the Ukrainian government had something to do with it.
