Over 7,000 partygoers at Sky Grande Prix for F1-themed party

SINGAPORE - The latest edition of the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 night race, held from Sep 18-20, also heralded the return of the fourth instalment of one of Singapore's unique F1-themed parties, Sky Grande Prix.

Held across popular nightspots Empire, Patio, Angie's and Sear on the 45th floor of the Singapore Land Tower, partygoers enjoyed panoramic views of the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit, as well as a variety of music options from over 50 DJs.

Empire featured DJs such as Rave Republic, Eva T, Remy Kersten and DJ Andrew T, while Patio, the designated hip hop and R&B area, featured names such as Andrew Chow, Rattle, AOS, Jade Rasif and DJ Titus.

Angie's, the house-music area, featured DJs Oliver Osborne, Stephen Day, Jeck Hyde and Two Shades.

The parties started on the Wednesday before the race weekend, offering the only five-night Formula 1 extravaganza for partygoers.

Wednesday, Sep 16, was ladies night, hosted by local TV personality Bobby Tonelli. At the event, all ladies enjoyed five complimentary lychee martinis up until 10pm, and one lucky lady, Ms Natalie Dau, even found a pair of diamond earrings with 118 round brilliant diamonds worth over $20,000 hidden in her lychee.

Creative agency Vanilla Luxury curated their first fashion show on Thursday, Sep 17, while partygoers were treated to a view of F1 cars racing around the flood-lit track on Friday, Sep 18 at Luxe Infinity.

Guests got a taste of Hong Kong's party scene on Saturday, Sep 19, as Dragon-i featuring DJ Remy Kersten kept the dance floor alive until dawn.

The Sky Grande Prix experience was completed on race day with an F1-themed brunch, a live broadcast of the race in the evening, and the post-race party that lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
