18-year-old filmed doing sex act on 24 men for £5 (S$12) cocktail

She comes from a family of born-again Christians.

And the deeply religious family of the 18-year-old from Northern Ireland, who was filmed performing sex acts on 24 men, has forgiven her lewd antics, friends claimed.

The teenager who was not named has not been seen in public after the shocking video filmed in Magaluf, a holiday resort in Majorca, Spain, went viral.

The girl is believed to have gone on a seven-day holiday with a friend to Magaluf last month.

She was allegedly told she would win a holiday for taking part in the sick game but the "prize" later turned out to be a £5 (S$10) cocktail with the same name.

But relatives and friends are standing by the teenager, the Daily Mirror reported.

A friend told the Irish Mirror her family believes "God will see them through this".

The friend, who was not named, said: "She is a lovely girl but she's been looking for excitement. She made a terrible mistake a few weeks ago and she has been fully forgiven.

"Her family love her and will protect her in their faith. But in saying that, everyone is devastated.

"It may be a positive thing that this story has got out because now the situation can be addressed and she can regain her strength and dignity."

The family has been deeply involved in a born-again Christian movement for many years and live their life as an example of "living forgiveness".

The girl's father, who works from home, remained at the family bungalow. He refused to comment on his daughter's antics.

But the family friend said: "There is no doubt he is heartbroken and devastated for his girl. He is praying for strength and guidance, and although this is the sort of thing that can shake your faith, he will remain strong as she will need all the help she can get."

Meanwhile, the organiser of the event has claimed that he "doesn't know what all the fuss is about" as it was just "an average night" in Magaluf.

Mr Alex Collinson, 28, took to Facebook to defend the video.

On Thursday night, police launched an inquiry into the girl's actions, which were said to be the result of an "out-of-control" party atmosphere in which everyone was "wasted".

Magaluf is infamous for its unlimited free alcohol, sex competitions, and non-stop partying which draw hordes of teenagers, especially from Britain.
