Thai teen gains followers on social media with creative outfits

A Thai teenager has recently become an online sensation, after posting photos of himself modelling his own self-designed outfits.

The creative outfits are often made of everyday materials, especially different types of plants, leaves and flowers.

However, some of his designs also include the use of household items such as clothes hangers, cooking pots and pans and even zinc roof pieces.

The 15-year-old refers to himself as "Thai Ban Fashionist" on Instagram, and some of his photos have garnered thousands of likes.

According to CCTV News, the boy, named Madaew, is from the Khon Kaen province in northeastern Thailand, which features prominently as the backdrop for many of his photos.

He has developed a growing following on social media, with over 16,000 followers on Instagram and over 176,000 followers on Facebook.

Fashion magazine Nylon reported that he is "quickly becoming a social media sensation for his incredible creativity and artistic vision in fashion."
