WATCH: Super strong Siberian kid puts us all to shame

Four-year-old Evgenyi "Zhenya" Kuzmenkov showed off his impressive powers during a workout session in Shelekhov, Irkutsk Oblast, on Tuesday.

Little Zhenya caused a sensation as he participated in the "Victory Record" event on May 9 where he swung a four-kilo (8.8 lbs) kettlebell 117 times.

Zhenya was the youngest participant in the action, but was also joined by his 11-year-old sister Yana, who swung the kettlebell 550 times.

Yana explained that Zhenya took an interest in the sports, "when we were taking part in a competition, he tried to lift weights, too, and he liked it so he started doing this with us".

Yana has been already training for two years and often takes part in regional competitions in which she wins.

Their father, National Guard employee and professional athlete Aleksandr Kuzmenkov, offered the sport to his children, which became a family hobby, and they now regularly train altogether.

Zhenya's coach and President of Federation of kettlebell sports of the Irkutsk region Andrei Solonin recognises the health risks of children weight training, and has said that he only gives Zhenya weights appropriate for his age.
