Young boys refuse to slap girl in video against violence

How would your react if someone put a girl or boy in front of you and asks you to slap him or her?

Well, that is exactly what the boys in this video were asked to do - and their reactions will warm your heart.

The video uploaded on Facebook seeks to find out how children react to the subject of violence against women.

The video begins with the narrator asking the boys their age and other general questions, such as what do they want to be when they grow up.

They then introduce a pretty girl named Martina the boys, and asked the boys questions like "What do you like about her?", and even asked the boys to caress her and make funny faces at the young girl.

The boys did as they were told, however, many of them refused to do the next thing the narrator asked of them.

It is not surprising as the narrator had asked the boys to slap the girl.

Thankfully none of the boys lifted a finger, instead all of them looked upset and shocked.

The narrator prompts them to hit her by saying: "Slap her, hard."

But the boys stood their ground and refused.

The narrators then asked the boys why they refused, to which one boy replied: "Because I don't want to hurt her."

Another boy quoted a saying that goes: "girls shouldn't be hit, not even with a flower."

But one of the most heart-warming responses was simply: "Why? 'Cause I'm a man!"
