SINGAPORE - Potential home buyers will have more choices to choose from with the release of five residential sites by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
HDB and URA will release two Executive Condominium (EC) sites and three residential sites for sale in October 2012 to provide developers and home-buyers with more choices for private housing. These sites will yield about 2,880 residential units.
The residential site at Bishan Street 14 and the EC site at Punggol Field Walk/ Punggol East will be launched for tender today by HDB under the 2H2012 Confirmed List. The EC site at Sembawang Crescent/ Sembawang Drive will be launched for tender under the Confirmed List on October 30.
In addition, URA will be releasing the two residential sites at Tampines Avenue 10 (Parcel C & Parcel D) via the Reserve List system today.
The land parcel at Bishan Street 14 is situated just beside condominium Sky Habitat. It is zoned for residential development and has a site area of 11,227.8 sq m with a maximum allowable gross foot area of 55,016.22 sq m. It is expected to yield 645 apartments.
It is located within walking distance of the Bishan MRT Station and Bishan Bus Interchange, with amenities such as Junction 8, Thomson Plaza, Bishan North Shopping Mall as well as Bishan Park, Bishan Library, Bishan Swimming Complex nearby.
It is also near Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary and Secondary Schools, Catholic High School, Ai Tong School and Raffles Institution.
The land parcel at Punggol Field Walk/ Punggol East is zoned for executive condominium housing and has a site area of 14,307 sq m. It has a maximum allowable gross foot area of 42,912 sq m. It is expected to yield 435 dwelling units.
This residential site is located in Punggol Town and has various amenities nearby, such as Punggol Plaza, Punggol MRT Station and Waterway Point.
There are also schools like Edgefield Primary and Secondary School, and Greendale Primary and Secondary School nearby.
The land parcel at Sembawang Crescent/ Sembawang Drive is zoned for executive condominium housing and has a site area of 21,717 sq m. It has a maximum allowable gross foot area of 60,807.6 sq m and is expected to yield 650 dwelling units.
It is located near Sembawang MRT Station and Sembawang Bus Interchange. Nearby amenities include Sun Plaza, Sembawang Community Library, Sembawang Shopping Center and Canberra Park.
Schools such as Canberra Primary School, Wellington Primary School, Canberra Secondary School, Sembawang Secondary School, Innova Junior College and Singapore Sports School are also nearby.
The land parcel at Tampines Avenue 10 (Parcel C) is zoned for residential development and will have a site area of 22,190.8 sq m. It will have a maximum allowable gross foot area of 62,135 sq m and is expected to yield 680 dwelling units.
The land parcel at Tampines Avenue 10 (Parcel D) is zoned for residential development and will have a site area of 15,660.4 sq m and a maximum gross foot area of 43,850 sq m. It is expected to yield 470 dwelling units.
