3 arrested for selling iPhones made of clay

Three men in South Korea almost got away with selling 300 iPhone boxes filled with clay to a Chinese merchant for US$150,000 (S$188,000).

Kotaku via Japan's News24 reported that the boxes filled with clay weighed as heavy as the real item.

The trio had reportedly mixed in these boxes with boxes containing real iPhones, hoping the seller wouldn't check each box individually.
