SINGAPORE - For the first time, Sphere Exhibits is organising two exhibitions side-by-side focused on the family. With a combined floor space of over 6,500 sqm and more than 120 exhibitors, The Kidz Academy (TKA) 2014 presented by S-26® and Good Food Great Living (GFGL) 2014 take place in the first week of the school holidays, 6-8 June from 11am to 9pm at Suntec Singapore Halls 401 to 403.

These two events offer the ideal one-stop destination for families to spend quality bonding time together during the mid-year school break. Admission to both events is free.

Hailed as Singapore's pioneer children's education exhibition, TKA returns for its sixth edition and promises quality edutainment activities. This year's TKA will feature renowned children's education and enrichment providers together with the most popular 'live' cartoon acts and activities as well as trial classes and parenting seminars.

Complementing TKA's family edutainment offerings is GFGL 2014 which will showcase a wide variety of health and wellness exhibitors and delectable food offerings.

The Kidz Academy 2014 presented by S-26

With the theme of "The Hallmark Education Event That's Fun for the Whole Family!", TKA 2014 ups the ante with its biggest line-up of 'live' acts and edutainment activities. Enjoy non-stop entertainment and activities for children and families with deals from the biggest names in the children enrichment and education industry. TKA 2014 is proudly presented by children's nutritional health product S-26.

Catch the biggest names in"live" children's entertainment

Featuring its biggest line-up of 'live' cartoon acts, TKA visitors will be among the first in Singapore to experience Disney's hit movie 'Frozen' at the Frozen activity area. The Frozen activity area will feature free activities such as making your own Olaf Pencil Holder, recreating a mini Olaf model as well as photo opportunities with life-size models of Frozen characters Elsa, Anna and Olaf.

Popular cartoon characters Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina and Fireman Sam will also be making appearances at the TKA main stage area. Visitors can get a chance to meet their favourite cartoon characters on stage daily at three different time slots.

Great Fun & Activities for the Family

There is never a shortage of fun at TKA with a large space dedicated to providing fun rides, carnival games and bouncy castles for children and parents to enjoy. For the first time, TKA will also be offering popular Piñata sessions to children at the Party Hut booth daily at 12pm and 4pm, where they stand to win special treats and prizes.

Pick up parenting tips from the experts

A series of free trial classes will be available for parents and children offered by the various education and enrichment providers. Topics that will be covered include "Excelling in Composition Writing" by Creative Campus, "Learn to play the Ukulele in 5 mins" by Ossia Music School, "Kids Yoga Trial Class" by OhmSantih Yoga and more.

Parents can attend a wide range of parenting and educational talks on Saturday 7 June. Miss Polene Lam, Founder and Director of Gifted Learners Student Care Centre, will conduct a 90-minute workshop titled "Raising your child holistically - The MI Way!", drawing on her expertise in the "Multiple Intelligences (MI)" theory developed by the renowned Dr Howard Gardner. This talk is proudly presented by S-26® and participants can look forward to a S-26® goodie bag at the end of the session.

The top 10 finalists with the most number of accurate answers within the shortest period of time will move on to pit their heuristic skills in an interactive, action-packed finale at the Final Round on stage.
