4-time Olympic champ Allyson Felix in S'pore Nov 2

SINGAPORE – World Champion and four-time Olympic Gold medalist, Allyson Felix, will be in Singapore for the first time on November 2. During her two-day visit, the US track and field sprint athlete will share the trials and triumphs of her career with local aspiring runners and cheer on the runners at We Run SG 2013.

At 18 years old, Felix defied the odds and proved her detractors wrong when she broke the World Junior Record and won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Since then, she has continually pushed her limits in pursuit of her passion, and hopes to share her inspirational story with runners in Singapore at Nike We Run SG.

On hand to flag off more than 20,000 runners at the F1 Pit Building on November 3, Felix will be spurring on runners to push their limits.

This year, Nike We Run SG runners were given the opportunity to submit creative suggestions and 'rules' they would like to see during the run. Some of these suggestions will be turned into reality in a unique 10km route that enables them to choose different experiences to run it their own way come race day.

Nike We Run SG 2013 is part of Nike’s global We Run series aimed at celebrating, motivating and inspiring athletes around the world.
