>KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: The Information, Communications, Arts and Culture Ministry has been renamed the Information, Communications and Culture Ministry.

Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said this was agreed upon by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at yesterday's cabinet meeting.

Rais, speaking after a visit to the Information Department at Wisma Sime Darby, here, also warned bloggers against posting lies and touching on personal matters.

"They can criticise the government but if they write untruths, then we will take action under the Communications (and Multimedia) Act," he said.

Rais was accompanied during the visit to the department by his two deputy ministers, Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum and Senator Heng Seai Kie, as well as director-general of information Datuk Abdullah Morad. -- Bernama
