11-car pileup on PIE causes massive jam
Wed, Feb 20, 2008
The Straits Times

An 11-car pileup along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE), just after Eng Neo Avenue towards the Changi Airport, caused a huge traffic snarl during the morning rush-hour on Wednesday.

Traffic slowed to a crawl after more than 10 cars bumped into each other on the extreme right lane of the PIE at about 6.45am.

The jam was aggravated by curious motorists who slowed down to look at the car pileup.

It is not known if anyone was injured.
