Singapore-based SPH Magazines has inked a licensing agreement with Indonesia's Kingpin Media to publish Home & Décor in Indonesia, marking the first time Home & Décor will be published overseas.

The agreement was signed by Mr Tony Sumarno, Group Publisher of Kingpin Media, and Mr Loh Yew Seng, CEO of SPH Magazines.

The inaugural issue is targeted to hit newsstands and bookstores in Indonesia this April. It will be published 12 times a year.

Kingpin Media publishes other lifestyle magazine titles in Indonesia while SPH Magazines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of media company Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), has about 100 titles in English and Chinese, including its flagship title Her World. SPH Magazines' titles can be found in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines and Vietnam.

Singapore's No. 1 interior magazine

Home & Décor, first launched in Singapore in 1987, is Singapore's No. 1 interior magazine and was awarded the Best in Design (Bronze) in the Asia Media Awards in 2005.

Home & Décor Indonesia will feature the same editorial content and design that the Singapore edition is known for. Readers can find out the latest decor trends, furnishings, accessories, design industry tips as well as some of the most innovative home designs in the magazine.

Mr Foong Seong Khong, Head of SPH Magazines' International Licensing Unit, said: "The licensing of Home & Décor in Indonesia reaffirms its strength as a brand with huge regional potential.
