Running Man's Lee Kwang Soo to hold fan meeting in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Fans of popular Korean variety show Running Man have a reason to celebrate this August. One of its key characters Lee Kwang Soo will be in Singapore on August 17 for a fan meeting.

The Singapore fan meeting is Lee's first ever fan meeting in his entertainment career, the organisers said. Lee has never done a solo event in any country and Singapore fans will be the first to get to see the model and entertainer perform live in a fan meeting outside his home country.

Lee's popularity has propelled him from a relatively unknown actor to a global sensation after appearing as a regular cast member on Running Man. His character on the show has earned him affectionate nicknames from his fans such as "framing master", "betrayer" and "giraffe".

During the fan meeting, which will be held at 7pm at the Festive Grand Theatre, Resorts World Sentosa, Lee will be sharing another side of him that fans do not get to see on television.

Fans will get to hear the artiste serenade them and play games with him during the two hour long session. The organisers encouraged audiences to be spontaneous and actively participate in the various activities to be held during the fan meeting.

Fans can purchase tickets from two categories, which cost $198 and $148 respectively.

Ticket holders in the first category will be entitled to a high five with Lee in a session that will be held immediately after the fan meeting.

For tickets in the first category, local fans can purchase the tickets directly from Faith & D Entertainment from June 22 onwards. Seats can be chosen at the point of purchase.

Overseas fans may purchase tickets at Faith & D Entertainment website at from June 17 noon onwards. Choosing of seats will not be allowed under this purchase method.

For the second category, tickets will be on sale at SISTIC from June 28 onwards. Ticket sales at the website will start from 9am.
