Woman in sex-for-contracts case gives graphic details

Cecilia Sue Siew Nang took the stand as a prosecution witness on Wednesday afternoon, as the trial against former Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) chief, Ng Boon Gay, went into its second day.

During the trial, the 36-year-old former IT sales representative gave graphic details of her meetings with Ng.

Ng, 46, is accused of obtaining oral sex from her on four occasions in return for furthering the business interests of the two firms she had worked for - Hitachi Data Systems and Oracle Singapore Corporation.

She turned up at court at 11.30am on Wednesday, as Mr Leslie Ong, the managing director of Oracle Corporation Singapore, was on the stand. When Ms Sue was introduced as prosecution's second witness at about 3.30pm, Senior Counsel Tan Chee Meng, defence for Ng, objected to the move.

However, she proceeded to testify after a meeting in chambers.

She told the court she first met Ng at a pub in Tanjong Pagar, and Ng knew about the IT jobs she handled.

But her voice began to crack when she described that Ng had forced her head onto his crotch on four occasions in 2011. She would struggle to move away from his groin and also tell him off.

She said Ng apologised and promised not to repeat his actions.

The incidents took place at carparks at Beaufort Hotel, Mount Faber, Hort Park and the Singapore General Hospital.

She broke down in tears while giving these graphic details of her meetings with Ng.

Prosecution lawyers then questioned why she continued to meet Ng after the first incident.

Ms Sue replied she was only a 'normal sales representative', and did not want to offend Ng or end up in a situation where 'I get framed'.

She also repeatedly pointed out that Ng was 'well-connected' and had 'influence'.

During the two hours she took the stand, she did not make eye contact with Ng.
