Michelle Kwan to open Marina Bay Sands skating rink

SINGAPORE - The highly anticipated Marina Bay Sands (MBS) skating rink will be launched on December 18 with the guest appearance by world-champion skater Michelle Kwan.

To mark the inaugural opening, Kwan will stage two figure-skating performances on December 18 and 19, at 2pm on both days.

The figure-skating performances promises to be a treat to the public as the star skater has won 43 championships, including five World Championships and two Olympic medals.

Located at the north node of The Shoppes at MBS, the 600-square meter skating rink is one of the many attractions for visitors to enjoy this festive season.

The first 1,000 people who sign up for the Marina Bay Sands Premier Advantage membership between December 11-19 will get a chance to watch her performance and receive one skating voucher.
